Six Years of Magic: Celebrating Agora’s Anniversary on the Stage

April 26th, 2025, wasn't just another date on the calendar for us. It marked six incredible years of Agora, a journey of building a space dedicated to stagecraft, community, and the transformative power of theatre. To celebrate this milestone, we decided to do what we love most, with the people who remind us why we do it.

We celebrated with something incredibly close to our hearts: our annual children’s play, "They Want a Play."

The Magic of "They Want a Play"

When we first announced the performance and shared the vibrant poster, filled with our young actors striking poses in their fantastic costumes around a giant book, we knew this was going to be an evening of pure fun and creativity. But seeing it come to life was something entirely different.

Watching the kids finally take the stage on the evening of the 26th was nothing short of pure magic. Their energy, their enthusiasm, and their absolute dedication to their roles filled the room. It is in these moments, watching the next generation discover their confidence under the stage lights, that we are powerfully reminded of why this journey matters so much.

A Community Built on Support

A theatre is nothing without its audience, and Agora is nothing without its community. Over the past six years, we have grown from a shared vision into a thriving space for stagecraft, and we didn't do it alone.
