On January 16, 2026, Gauhati University hosted a really cool event for a new movie called PREM XL. Instead of just sharing a poster online, the movie team decided to do something different. A well-known artist named Neelim Mahanta made a huge, colorful graffiti painting right there on campus. As students and visitors watched him paint, the title of the movie was slowly revealed, and everyone cheered.

The event showed how much teamwork is going into this movie. PREM XL is directed by Tony Deori Basumatary and is being made by Heavy Budget and DMojo Art working together. A lot of the cast members were there to support the event and watch the live art happen, including Anisha Hazarika, Sanjib Kalita, Nandini Handique, Mridupawan Parashar, Jaanu Boruah, and Tanmay Das Bora. Heavy Budget's trio Tony Deori Basumatary, Jonny Deori, and Bonny Deori and executive producer Debabrat Bordoloi joined the gathering as well. It created buzz on campus and gave everyone a taste of what is coming when the movie hits theatres on August 28, 2026.

There is already a lot of work happening behind the scenes to promote the film. With producer Prerona Bordoloi on board, the team is working hard to make sure this movie is a big success.
