Inside “YAARIYAN – The Friendship Carnival”

The event “YAARIYAN – The Friendship Carnival,” presented by The TMR on 6th August 2016 at Sradhanjali Kanan held a pre-friendship day celebration, YAARIYAN was an open canvas for everyone to paint their memories, celebrate old connections, and spark new ones. The idea was simple yet deeply meaningful – before Friendship Day officially dawned, why not create a space to honour what friendship really means?

What made YAARIYAN truly stand out was the diversity of performances and features: Rapping, BMX & MTB Stunts, Beatboxing & B-boying, Live Bands, Dance & Music.

The Heart Behind the Event

The YAARIYAN crew Hirak Jyoti Bora, Rinku Das, Kuwali Das, Duhita Sharma and Chintu Nick weren’t just organizers; they were storytellers. They knew that friendship deserves more than just a like on social media or a “Happy Friendship Day” text. It deserves a carnival, a living, breathing space where memories are not just captured in photos but engraved in hearts.

By crafting YAARIYAN, the team gifted the community a space to pause, reflect, and express through art, music, humour, and creativity. a carnival where bonds were not only showcased but also strengthened.
