April 26th, 2025, was a very special day for us. It marked the six-year anniversary of Agora -the space. To celebrate this big milestone, we decided to do what we love the most. We hosted our annual children's play, which was called "They Want a Play."

Seeing the children perform on stage was truly magical. They brought so much energy, fun, and joy to the room. Watching them act with such confidence reminded us exactly why we started this journey six years ago.

Of course, a wonderful show like this takes a lot of hard work behind the curtain. Nandini Handique wrote the wonderful script and directed the play. She did an amazing job guiding the young actors and bringing the whole story to life.

The beautiful stage you saw was the work of Nikumoni Sarmah, who was in charge of the set design. Nikumoni also teamed up with Nandini Handique to do all the makeup and styling. Together, they made sure every single child looked perfect for their special role.

The mood of the play was brought together by great audio. Chintu Nick handled the sound direction for the evening. He made sure the music and sound effects fit perfectly with what the kids were doing on stage.

There were also many wonderful moments before the show even started. Ayush Barua was our photographer for the event. He took beautiful pictures behind the scenes, capturing all the smiles, excitement, and nervous energy of the kids before they went on stage.

We are so grateful to everyone who has supported us over the years. A huge thank you goes out to the friends and families who came to cheer for the kids. Happy six years to Agora, and here is to making many more memories together.
