The XL Show

On August 14, we stood backstage at the Srimanta Sankaradeva International Auditorium in Guwahati. Looking out at the crowd, the entire hall was packed with 2,000 people. It was an amazing feeling for our team. D Mojo Art and Heavy Budget organized this show together to bring great comedy to the city and share big news about our upcoming movie, PREM XL.

Behind the stage, the energy was high and exciting. Nandini Handique hosted the show, keeping the audience entertained and guiding the night smoothly.

Saurabh Pandey went out first to open the comedy lineup. He told funny jokes about himself, and the crowd laughed so hard that everyone had stomach aches.

Next, Ravi Gupta came on stage with his special show, Kal Ki Chinta Nahi Karta. He was super funny and connected with the crowd right away. He even said warmly from the stage, "Guwahati always gives me good memories." At the end of his act, he sarcastically asked all 2,000 people to follow Saurabh Pandey on Instagram, which made everyone laugh even more.

Then came the moment we were all waiting for. Tony Deori Basumatary, Jonny Deori, and Bonny Deori walked out on stage. The crowd went crazy cheering for them. The trio did a short comedy routine and announced the official release date for our movie: PREM XL will release in theatres on October 2, 2026. They told the crowd that the movie is a romantic comedy. Almost everyone working on PREM XL is a newcomer, and every single crew member put their personal love, hard work, and small creative touches into this film.

Seeing 2,000 people laugh and cheer together gave us a huge boost. Save the date for October 2, 2026, and get ready to watch PREM XL in theatres!
